Podiatrists help people in the care of their lower limbs, including the foot and ankle. These parts of the body act as our stabilisers, shock absorbers and propulsion engines – making them instrumental in our overall health and wellbeing. OHL Podiatrist, Melanie Cricco can help assess, diagnose, treat and manage conditions of the feet and legs. Healthy feet are important for everyone, no matter your age or lifestyle.

Foot care is especially important for people with specific conditions, such as diabetes, which can cause foot problems. It is also very important for infants and children whose feet are still developing. People with an involvement in sport and fitness can also find working with a Podiatrist beneficial, not only to manage any foot issues as a result of activity, but to help prevent them in the first place. For athletes, weekend warriors, children and older members of the community – optimal lower limb performance is for everyone!

Know Before You Go

Melanie accepts private clients, TAC, WorkCover, Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), as well as patients under Enhanced Primary Care plans and Chronic Disease Management plans. When you arrive for your appointment, please bring any referral letter and imaging from your GP, Surgeon, sports doctor and/or any other allied health professional that will be relevant to your consultation.
